FROM VALLEJO, travel west on Hwy 37 to parking lot approx. two miles west of the Napa River Bridge. On approach, the floating dock and large, multi – panel wooden kiosk can be used as land marks for the right turn into the parking lot, which is only accessible from west bound Hwy 37.
FROM MARIN/SONOMA requires crossing the refuge and circling back due to the barrier between oncoming traffic. Travel east on Hwy 37 continuing 9.5 miles past the junction with Hwy 121 toward Vallejo . Take the Walnut Ave/ Mare Island Exit . S low on the exit and take the first left following the sign to Vista Point, circle around bearing right, cross over the overpass and merge onto Hwy 37 West. The parking area is approximately two miles west. FROM VALLEJO, travel west on Hwy 37 and turn left on Reclamation Road at the intersection with Lakeville Hwy approximately two miles past the junction with Hwy 121.
FROM MARIN/SONOMA, travel east on Hwy 37 and turn right on Reclamation Road at the intersection with Lakeville Highway approximately two miles from the Petaluma River bridge.
Note that no directions are provided to Antioch Dunes and Marin Islands as they cannot be visited without a representative from the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
